Thirteen-year-old Sam Cleary suspects that his baffling and hermitic neighbor, Mr. Smith, is really a legend remaining unnoticed just by being casual. A quarter century prior, Rock City's superpowered vigilante, Samaritan, was accounted for dead after a blazing distribution center fight with his opponent, Foe. Most accept he died in the fire, however some, similar to Sam, have trust that he's as yet alive. With wrongdoing now on the ascent, Sam makes it his main goal to cajole Samaritan back into public to save the city from ruin.
